At Pathways, we are Physical Therapists experienced in providing PT for ultra Athletes, weekend warriors, and women and men with musculoskeletal dysfunction. We offer traditional therapy techniques such as manual therapy, Dry Needling and postural and body mechanics instruction. What makes us different is our unique one on one sessions for specialized attention as well as our inclusion to a holistic approach incorporating mindfulness and meditation for optimal healing of the body, mind and soul. Each of our practitioners has unique skills with specializations in athletes, foot and ankle care including custom made orthotics, pelvic floor health for both men and women, and lymphedema treatments. Workshops and classes on Mindful Living and Meditation are available.
We also make it convenient by offering options for receiving care in the clinic, at your home, office or virtually!
Meet the Practitioners
Cindy Schmidt, MPT, owner of Pathways Physical Therapy & Holistic Health, has been a Physical Therapist for over 21 years and incorporates her holistic training in yoga, Reiki and as a Certified Mindfulness Teacher to offer a unique healing experience. Cindy’s expertise includes working with athletes of all levels utilizing various techniques, including manual therapy and Dry Needling. She has obtained extensive training in Women’s Health/Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy including pelvic pain, incontinence, and pregnancy and postpartum care. Educating and empowering clients to take charge of their own health is her true passion!

Cara Cage, PT, DPT, OCS, CertMDT, CLT, has experience in both the outpatient orthopedic and home health settings. She is an orthopedic clinical specialist (OCS) and certified in the McKenzie method of mechanical diagnosis and treatment (CertMDT) of the spine. Cara has experience utilizing manual therapy techniques to treat lymphedema and soft tissue restrictions post breast cancer surgery. Additionally, through the birth of her two daughters, Cara has developed a passion for women’s health and helping women maintain optimal wellness during the pregnancy and postpartum periods.

Melissa Reitman, MPT, has been a Physical Therapist for over 27 years with extensive experience in orthopedics, manual therapy, and Dry Needling. Her passion and experience are in the treatment of foot and ankle dysfunction including custom made orthotics if appropriate. She also specializes in women’s pelvic health including incontinence, pregnancy and postpartum healing. A mom of three, Melissa has always desired to connect with women before, during and after childbirth. A previous La Leche League leader and lactation consultant, she can also provide support with breastfeeding.
