Mindfulness workshops and individual instruction, based on the Mindful Life Program, are offered at Pathways. The Mindful Life Program (MLP) is a mindfulness course developed by John Bruna and Mark Molony to provide skills that empower you to engage in the moments of your life with attention and intention, enabling you to cultivate beneficial tendencies and develop mental and emotional balance. MLP is designed to help people lead a meaningful life in alignment with their inner values.

Mindfulness as defined in the MLP:  The practice of mindfulness is much more than present moment awareness; it includes and facilitates the cultivation of concentration, wisdom and the ability to make healthy choices that foster genuine happiness and a meaningful life.

Mindfulness can transform your life!

Living mindfully, we are able to …
*Cultivate inner peace and well-being
*Increase your awareness and ability to make healthy choices
*Deal with life challenges skillfully
*Develop emotional and mental balance
*Reduce harmful mental states such as fear, stress, anger, resentment, and jealousy
*Enhance your relationships, connections, and meaning in your life

Mobile PT

Physical therapy is critical for clients recovering from sports injuries, surgeries, or effectively manage an ongoing health concern. Pathways now offers mobile services, allowing patients to obtain their therapy from the comfort of their own home or office!

There are many reasons to take advantage of mobile physical therapy services, here are a few:

Get an Early Start on Rehab: In general, the sooner you get started, the better your chances of making a full recovery after an injury or surgery. Mobile physical therapy services can help patients get started right away by providing the treatments at home for those not yet able to make it to the clinic.

Save Time and Money: If you are busy with work, caring for kids, or other obligations, and do not have time to leave what you are doing, Mobile services bring the therapist to you, so you can receive your treatment and get right back to what you are already doing. It is often hard to put a price on the time we are able to save to be more productive or stay home with loved ones who need our care.

Individualized Care: When you receive care at your home or office, the therapist is focused exclusively on you.

No Need to Travel: Even after a certain amount of time in rehabilitation, you may still have difficulty traveling. This is especially true for postpartum moms or for anyone post-surgery. Mobile physical therapy solves this problem by allowing patients to receive the treatments they need at home, so they do not have to risk traveling if they are not ready to do so.

Customizable Plans: Physical therapy should never be a “one-size fits all” approach. Each patient has unique needs, and it is important to have a plan that fully and effectively addresses those needs. With mobile physical therapy, the provider works around your schedule and needs.

In simple terms, TeleHealth physical therapy refers to physical therapy services that are provided over a technology platform such as Zoom, rather than by in-person means. Transmission is secure and HIPPA compliant.

Reasons TeleHealth can be beneficial:
Extending Our Reach to The Patient

We are passionate about and genuinely care for our patients. We cultivate the deepest relationships with them because of how dedicated we are to getting our clients back to doing the things they love. If you live far from the clinic or have trouble traveling, this can be a wonderful alternative to receive care and education to keep you on the right path.

Studies consistently show that the quality of healthcare services delivered via Telemedicine can be as good as those given in traditional in-person consultations.

If we can use remote monitoring and TeleRehab technology, we can extend our reach beyond the traditional in clinic setting and into our client’s home. This would empower you to do more at home, thereby maximizing your recovery time.

Improve Access to Physical Therapy

Not only does TeleRehab improve access to patients in distant locations, but it also allows us to expand our reach, beyond our own offices.
